Chuck is an ESD SME for Botron Company Inc. and Director of Client Services & Technical Applications. Chuck is the direct technical interface for Botron customers and provides guidance to customers on their ESD factory control needs. Chuck believes in a data driven sustainable ESD culture improving yields and minimizing ESD risks. Chucks ESD Factory control knowledge is very diverse, and he has experience in many semiconductor processes ranging from reticle to finished systems, data centers, contract manufacturing, and non-Tech related industries.
Chuck has over 25 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing including site startup, audit, compliance verification, and process and risk assessments. He was a founding member of Micron Technologies global ESD council and helped Micron achieve ESDA S20.20 factory certification at back-end manufacturing sites globally. Chuck is a member of all the ESDA Factory Control working groups, member of IEC TC-101, and ESD chair/Liaison for SEMI and the SEMI ESD Task force.
Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from Boise State University, and an Associate of Applied Science from DeVry Institute of Technology. He lives in Boise Idaho with his wife. Chuck has two daughters, with one attending flight school to become a pilot, and another working on her Bachelors in geoscience. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family, competing and officiating Scottish Highland Games, boating, fishing, and hiking.
