European ESD Symposium for Factory Issues

 

Learn current ESD controls and procedures aboard a ferry in the Baltic Sea!

The EOS/ESD Association and STAHA, the Finnish ESD Association, are organizing the 2nd European ESD Symposium for Factory Issues.  

EOS/ESD Factory Symposium -Tutorials will begin on October 10-11, 2016 at the Simonkentta Scandic Hotel, in Helsinki, Finland.  The Tutorials on Oct 10th will be “ESD Basics” presented by Toni Viheriakoski from Cascade Metrology, followed by “Process Assessment” presented by Reinhold Gaertner from Infineon Technologies. The Tutorial program continues on Oct 11th with “ANSI/ESD S20.20 - Process Design Overview” presented by John Kinnear from IBM.

EOS/ESD Factory Symposium will continue with technical presentations aboard the Tallink Ferry (Roundtrip Helsinki - Stockholm). Technical sessions include topics on: EOS/ESD Factory Level and Materials Technology and EOS/ESD Standards – Components, System, and Factory & Materials.

This is the first time that both organizations will cooperate to hold a Symposium that is focusing on protection issues during handling, assembly, testing, and transport. This event is a continuation of the first European EOS/ESD Factory Symposium, that was successfully held in Munich in 2014.
