Certification Overview
EOS/ESD Association, Inc. established ESD Compliance Verification Technician, which is based on the ESDA's technical report, ESD-TR53™ Compliance Verification of ESD Protective Equipment and Materials. This important document supports and maintains static control programs designed around ANSI/ESD S20.20 Standard for the Development of an Electrostatic Discharge Control Program for Protection of Electrical and Electronic Parts, Assemblies and Equipment, and the European technically equivalent standard IEC 61340-5-1. EOS/ESD Association’s ESD Compliance Verification Technician certification provides an understanding of ESD TR53™-01-22, including but not limited to associated equipment, verification, test methods, and troubleshooting that may be used within an organization’s ESD control program.

Upgrade today. Pay the $500 certification training cost. Go through the training that updates your previous training from TR53™-2018 to TR53™-01-22 and awards you as an ESD Compliance Verification Certification Technician. After the online training that addresses all of the updates to the TR53™ document, take the online quiz. After successful completion of the knowledge assessment, EOS/ESD Association, Inc. issues your certification card, adds your achievement to the ESDA website, and provides the digital badge and certification logo.
If you are responsible for ESD Compliance Verification for your organization, in part on in whole, this is a certification for you! Successful candidates can understand ESD phenomenon and relevance, understand all measurement techniques for compliance verification as defined in TR53™ and the correlation to an ESD control program, and troubleshoot ESD protective items and corrective actions.
