EOS/ESD Association, Inc.’s Nicholas Pimpinella Performs Taps on Memorial Day

REMSEN, NY – The EOS/ESD Association, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Business Manager, Nicholas ‘Nick’ Pimpinella performed Taps for the Remsen VFW Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 30, 2022. The ceremony was hosted by the Remsen Memorial Post 982 VFW and was held at the new Town of Remsen Veterans Memorial Park.
Nick has been playing the trumpet for 15 years and is eager to continue performing Taps for those soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom of the people of the United States of America. Nick, originally from Rome, NY is a new resident of the Town of Remsen. He said, “The opportunity to perform Taps is something I cherish. It is a great privilege to honor our veterans and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.”
Executive Director, Lisa Pimpinella of the EOS/ESD Association, Inc. said, “We are proud to have Nick on our staff and doing his part to honor the fallen in an effort to protect our freedom.”
The EOS/ESD Association, Inc. is a 501’C’3 non-profit organization and is dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of electrostatic discharge (ESD) avoidance. Nick has been with the organization for seven years.
The EOS/ESD Association, Inc. was founded in Rome, NY in 1982, has grown to 15,869+ members and volunteers, and 55+ participating countries, including the U.S. and Canada. Initially focusing on ESD on electronic components, the Association has expanded its reach to include areas such as textiles, plastics, web processing, cleanrooms, and graphic arts. Due to a continually changing environment, the association is chartered to expand ESD awareness through standards, development, education programs, local chapters, publications, tutorials, certification, and symposia. It is the only organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to write and produce standards on electrostatics.
