This year, the EOS/ESD Symposium will be celebrating its 30 th Anniversary. Surprisingly, when it was first started some people did not even want to believe the existence of ESD as far as the ICs were concerned, but only that it was all due to some Evil Spirited Devices… This year’s featured plenary speaker Dr. Charvaka Duvvury will present a review of the first thirty years of Symposium history on Tuesday, September 9. We have definitely come a long way from the Dark Ages of ESD and today the EOS/ESD Symposium is the place where you will gain the necessary knowledge to keep up with the ever changing and demanding ESD world. As a consolidated tradition, Tutorials on Sunday and Monday will open the Symposium week with an excellent slate of informative and educational opportunities. Two new Tutorials have also been added by our National Tutorial Chair, Carl Newberg, to provide outstanding continuous educational opportunities and to complement an already rich offering.
