Exhibitors face to face with their Customers The EOS/ESD Sym- posium would not be what it is without the support of our exhibi- tors. In the exhibit hall there were a variety of displays for ESD testing and control equipment, clothing, protective packaging, and consultants. I have now attended my second sym- posium as Marketing Administrator for ESD Association. I am as impressed as I was with my first. I had the op- portunity to meet many more of the exhibitors who have exhibited at the show in the past and many new ones. Exhibitors who have exhibited at every Symposium since the first one in 1979 include 3M, ACL/STATICIDE, Conduc- tive Containers, Desco, Electro-Tech Systems, ITW Richmond, and Simco. There were also many first time ex- hibitors who brought new products and exciting displays to the show. They included: Achilles/Daitron, Alpro Fash- ion-ESD shoes, Bayer Material Science LLC, EngXT University of Michigan, Er- gotron, High Power Pulse Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, Skolnick, UL DQS, and Xtend packaging, Inc. Exhibiting at the symposium is an impor- tant part of sales for these companies; it not only allows them the opportunity to meet with their customers face to face but it offers them the opportunity to make new contacts, and to touch base with other companies who have ESD products and services. I would like to thank all of the exhibitors who continue to support the Associa- tion and help to make the Annual EOS/ ESD Symposium a rewarding event for everyone who attends.
