For those who go above and beyond, the ESD Association annually recognizes individ- uals who have made a lasting impact on the Association or on the ESD industry. These awards are presented at the an- nual EOS/ESD Symposium. Industry Contribution Award IBM One of the premier companies that has led the way in the implementation of static con- trol procedures, development of facility audit techniques and site certification to ANSI/ESD S20.20 is IBM In recognition of its commitment to the ESD industry and support of the ESD Association, IBM received the Associationʼs Industry Contribution Award. Industry Pioneer Award Jeremy Smallwood (right) The ESD Association Industry Pioneer Award is presented to an individual whose contribu- tions, vision and service helped to form, or sig- nificantly change, the industry. David Barber Memorial Award Charvaka Duvvury (left) The David Barber Sr. Memorial Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the develop- ment, organization, management and growth of the EOS/ESD Symposium. The candi- date for this award is chosen by the Sympo- sium Business Unit Manager and current General Chair, and is presented at the annual volunteer recognition event. Joel Weidendorf Memorial Standards Award: Terry Welsher (left) The Joel Weidendorf Memorial Standards Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the develop- ment of ESD Association Standards. The can- didate for this award is chosen by the Chairman of the Standards Committee and is presented at the annual volunteer recognition event. Outstanding Contributions Award: Mike Chaine (right) The Outstanding Contributions Award is the ESD Association’s most prestigious award. It is awarded to an individual who has made a ma- jor contribution to either the development or the operation of the ESD Association or has had a significant impact in the field of EOS/ESD.
