Shubhankar Marathe received the M.S. & Ph.D. degrees from the Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO in 2017 and 2019, respectively. He joined Amazon Lab126, Sunnyvale, CA, in 2019 and currently works as a Sr. ESD System Design Engineer. He has authored and co-authored more than 25 papers and serves as a technical reviewer for journals and conferences such as the IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, IEEE Access, IEEE Letters on Electromagnetic Compatibility Practice and Applications, IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility & Signal/Power Integrity (EMC+SIPI), IEEE Asia Pacific Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, and Electrical Overstress/Electrostatic Discharge (EOS/ESD) Symposium. He received the IEEE EMC Society President’s Memorial Award at the Joint IEEE EMC & APEMC Symposium, Singapore, 2018 for his outstanding academic research work in the EMC/ESD topics. He received the 2019 Best Transactions Paper Award Honorable mention and the 2019 Best Student EMC Symposium Paper award at the IEEE EMC+SIPI Symposium. Since 2020, he serves as a technical reviewer for the EOS/ESD Symposium. He has conducted an EMC special session in 2021, served as the EMC session symposium chair in 2022, and served as the System-level EOS/ESD/EMC, HMM sub-committee Chair in 2023. His research interests include electrostatic discharge, EMC measurements, near-field scanning, and signal integrity.
