ROME, NY - EOS/ESD Association, Inc. is pleased to announce successful certifications issued for ESD Compliance Verification Technician to TR53 Certification. This certification is based on the ESDA's technical report, ESD TR53-01-22 Compliance Verification of ESD Protective Equipment and Materials.

ESD TR53-01-22 Compliance Verification of ESD Protective Equipment and Materials supports and maintains static control programs designed around ANSI/ESD S20.20 Standard for the Development of an Electrostatic Discharge Control Program for Protection of Electrical and Electronic Parts, Assemblies and Equipment, and the European technically equivalent standard IEC 61340-5-1. EOS/ESD Association’s ESD Compliance Verification Technician certification provides an understanding of ESD TR53-01-22, including but not limited to associated equipment, verification, test methods, and troubleshooting that may be used within an organization’s ESD control program.

EOS/ESD Association, Inc. Executive Director, Lisa Pimpinella said, “This certification is important to recognize, because it conveys a high level of expertise. ESD Compliance Verification Technician to TR53 Certification recipients will be able to understand and make compliance verification measurements and demonstrate advanced skill using measurement apparatus and trouble-shooting techniques. We strongly encourage others to invest in this important certification.”  This certification is ideal for individuals responsible for ESD compliance verification in their organizations or for those who need a working understanding of ESD control program testing requirement.

Successful individuals who complete the certification obtain the understanding of electrical theory & electrostatics and the applicability to an ESD Control Program, what compliance verification is and how it fits within an ESD Control Program, the requirements of ESD TR53-01-22, and how it can be used to meet the requirements of compliance verification.
