Work on drafting a revision of SP27.1 began to better harmonize with the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) equivalent, intending to simplify it to two levels.

Plans were made to reach out to the ESDA Automotive Committee to engage with the industry, particularly USCAR (United States Council for Automotive Research), for re-engagement on the direction and approval of SP27.1. There was a consideration to remove them from the document if necessary. The status of ESD TR27.-01 was discussed. Support was requested to complete the document.
